4/30 YOUTH PASS – JOVEN

WHAT IS THE 4/30 YOUTH PASS?

It is a new pass for using metropolitan public transport, aimed at individuals aged between 5 and 30 years. It offers a flat rate that allows you to make an unlimited number of trips for 30 days.

WHO IS IT FOR? REQUIREMENTS

Individuals aged between 5 and 30 years old who have been registered as residents in the city of Alicante for a minimum uninterrupted period of 1 year.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Purchase your pass for €15.00 or €7.50 (subsidized until 31/01/2026)* plus a one-time fee of €4 for the card, which allows you to make unlimited trips during the 30 days following the first validation, meaning from the first use after recharging.

*Discounts applied from July 1, 2025, are funded by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility, and Urban Agenda, the Valencian Regional Government, and the Alicante City Council.

The new fares will be sold from July 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.

They will be valid for use until January 31, 2026.

They can be exchanged, paying the corresponding difference, from February 1 to 28, 2026.

Application at TAM Office:

Visit our TAM office, and they will assist you with the application process. You only need to bring a passport-sized photo of the applicant.

Registration as a Bono Jove holder is mandatory. This procedure must be completed at the TAM Office, submitting the required documentation.

The registration process may be completed either in person (TAM Office) or by regular mail and/or email.

Any changes to the details associated with the Bono Jove can be made either in person or by email, by submitting a scanned copy of the ID and a valid Jove Card. No payment is required.

WHAT IS THE 30-DAY PASS?

It is a new flat-rate travel pass promoted and subsidised by the Alicante City Council to encourage the use of public transport among residents of Alicante.

WHO IS IT FOR? REQUIREMENTS

It is available to all people aged 5 and over who have been officially registered as residents of the municipality of Alicante for at least one uninterrupted year.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

With your 30-Day Pass, you can make unlimited journeys during the 30 days following the first time you use it. Once the initial registration and first top-up have been completed, subsequent top-ups can be made at your usual point of sale, just like any other travel pass.
Please note that the 30-day validity period starts after the first validation following the corresponding top-up.

WHERE CAN I USE IT?

It can be used across the entire metropolitan public transport network (TAM), including urban buses, intercity buses and the TRAM.

HOW DO I TOP IT UP?

Once the initial registration and first top-up have been completed, subsequent top-ups can be made at your usual point of sale, just like any other travel pass.

WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE A SCHOOL OR YOUTH PASS AND WANT TO SWITCH TO THE 30-DAY PASS?

How can I do this?

If you already hold a travel pass and wish to benefit from the 30-Day Pass, you must apply for it specifically and provide all required details again.

Can I transfer unused trips from my old pass?

As the price and conditions of the passes are different, trips cannot be transferred between them.

Can I hold two passes at the same time?

Yes. If you wish to opt for the new pass, you can apply for it and use it interchangeably alongside any other active pass you may have.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

For a single price of €40 (€24.00 subsidised until 31/07/2026)*, you can make unlimited journeys during the 30 days following the first time you use the pass.
In addition, a one-time fee of €4 is required for the card itself.

Contactless chip card. Maximum 300 free trips/year.

The 300 free trips are made up of:

255 trips that are automatically renewed

The next 45 can be recharged FREE OF CHARGE at any point of sale.

Once the 300 free trips (255+45) have been used up, the cardholder can recharge, upon payment, trips at a discounted price (€5 €3 is the RRP for 10 Discounted trips until 31/01/2026*)

Price of personalized Móbilis Card: €4.00

When collecting the card, the user will pay €4 for the card and €16.50 €8.25 for the first recharge

EXPIRATION

The recharges made with this voucher have an expiration of 2 years. Date reflected on the purchase receipt of the card holder or the last recharge.

• Unlimited access to TAM → TAM urban bus lines (red buses), TAM intercity bus lines (blue buses) and tram lines (TRAM) between Alicante, Playa de San Juan and Campello.
• A trip on Turibus → Tourist bus in the city of Alicante, which covers the most attractive points of the city and offers a brief explanation available in 5 languages ​​(Spanish, English, French, German and Italian). (The Turibus service will start on March 19 and end on December 8).
